Towards Perfection in Salah is a comprehensive course designed to enhance your understanding and practice of Salah. By delving into its significance, prerequisites, and ways to maintain focus, this course aims to elevate your Salah and deepen your spiritual connection with Allah (SWT). Course Outline:
1. Introduction to Salah:
- Importance and significance of Salah in Islam. - Role of Salah as the first act to be questioned on the Day of Judgment.
2. Impact of Salah
- Connection between Salah and the capacity to see Allah (SWT) in the hereafter.
- Understanding Salah as the source of all other acts of worship.
- Disposition of the Siddiqueen in relation to Salah.
3. Quranic References
- In-depth study of five Quranic verses related to Salah.
4. Hadith References:
- Analysis of seven hadiths emphasizing the importance and virtues of Salah.
5. Prerequisites of Salah:
- Detailed study of Faraid, Wajibaat, Sunan, Mustahibbat.
- Importance of Satar (Azeemat), Imamah, Miswak, and Atr (fragrance).
6. Spirit of Salah:
- Balancing standard practices with personal spiritual states (Mizaj).
- Understanding the differences between Kasabi and Wahabi practices.
7. Maintaining Focus in Salah:
- Techniques to maintain concentration
1. Pay attention to your existence and relax your body.
2. Listen to your recitation with both ears and heart.
3. Keep your eyes focused:
- Qiyam: on the place of Sujood.
- Ruku': between your toes.
- Sajda: on your nose or the ground.
- Tashahud/Jalsa: between your knees/lap.
- Salam: on your shoulders and towards the respective person and the entire row in congregation.
4. Gradually reduce distractions to elevate the quality of your Salah.
8. Self-Assessment and Continuous Improvement:
- Praying Salah consistently for 40 days (200 Salah) and extending to 4 months (600 Salah).
- Structured milestones and notifications to track progress and improve focus and presence in Salah.

Focus on attainable practices that can be acquired through personal effort (Kasb).
6. Self-Evaluation and Improvement
Engage in self-assessment and continuous improvement of your Salah through structured milestones and feedback.
